We offer all glazing options for framing your work.
From plain glass, u/v acrylic, non reflecting, to Conservation clear, and the ultimate for viewing, Museum glass. Seeing is believing!
These days we are seeing more artwork coming into the workshop for a general inspection and report. Very important for original art, especially watercolour.
We will disassemble the work, inspect and identify any problem area, report back to fully discuss all the options available, to protect the work well into the future.
I often have clients ask me, “how do you hang a picture’? My response is……”usually on a wall” Advise is free here. We can discuss the best way to display your pictures in your home or office. From the obligatory picture hook to Gallery track hanging system, we can assist you.
Waxes, stains, dyes, oils, framers putty, gold and silver leaf . These are some of the things we use. How do we use them? Now that’s the fun bit. If you have an old frame that you might like to smarten up or even reuse for something special, talk to us first. The results can astound.
